The MBD Homes Story

We began in the industry over 2 decades ago when our owner, Keith Martin, began framing new homes for local builders – while still in high school. Quickly realizing his enjoyment of this type of quality, hands-on work, he began working for a local re-modeler and stayed on for years. His experience moved quickly to construction management – spending the next 12 years learning every aspect of the new home construction for a major construction company. At that point, Keith decided to form MBD Homes.

My name is Keith Martin, the owner of MBD Homes. MBD stands for my three children’s names, the oldest Maclain, middle Brielle and youngest Declan. Named after three of the most important things in my life, MBD Homes will work with you to build the most important investment in your life—your home.

I started in the industry over twenty years ago, while in high school framing new homes for local builders. Finding out I enjoyed what I was doing I ventured out working for a local remodeler for many years. From remodeling to construction management was my next step to further my education and work ethic. Working then for the next twelve years learning the ins and outs of new construction from a successful company, I knew that I would be able to give the customer a safe and quality built custom home that was affordable, and hence MBD Homes came to be.
